This P-63E was built new in 1945 and retained by Bell for flight testing. Delivered to the Honduran AF in October 1948, it was damaged during the ferry flight toTegucigalpa and was then used for spares. It was returned to Bell in 1957 where it was restored and donated to the USAF Museum. It is currently falsely marked as RP-63A 42-69654 and is now at the Museum of Aviation at Warner Robins AFB, GA

Taken at the outdoor aircraft display area at the original USAF Museum. This P-63E was built new in 1945 and kept at Bell for flight testing. To the Honduran AF in October 1948. Damaged on delivery flight toTegucigalpa Air Base and then used as a spare parts hulk. Back to Bell in 1957 where it was restored and donated to the USAF Museum. It is currently falsely marked as RP-63A 42-69654 and is now at the Museum of Aviation at Warner Robins AFB, GA.
