Delivered to the USAF on 20 December 1978, flew most of its carrer with the 49th Tactical Fighter Wing from Holloman AFB (NM), and is seen here as the wing-bird during a deployment to Gilze Rijen. Apparently the Eagle enjoyed the Netherlands as it arrived as RETRO54 at Soesterberg for service with the 32nd TFS from8 January 1992 onwards. After the Wolfhounds, it was moved to the 101st FS and then went into storage at 309th AMARG from 1 October 2007. It received inventory code FH0179. On 31 March 2021, it the aircraft was moved to HVF West, Tucson (AZ) for scrap.

Delivered to the USAF on 22 May 1978. First served the 49th TFW ('HO') at Holloman (NM). In May 1980, moved to the 57th FWW ('WA') at Nellis AFB (NV). Transferred to the 48th Fighter Interceptor Squadron at LAngley AFB (VA) in late 1986 (as pictured). It returned to the 49th TFW whjich became a FW in 1992. The Eagle went to the Hawaii ANG in early 1993 with the 154th FW. Then moved to the 131st FW ('SL') at Lambert Field (MO). It crashed near Lindbergh (MO), 100 miles southwest of the base after clipping wings with 77-0118/SL, which landed safely. The pilot of 117 ejected safely.

Delivered to the USAF on 22 May 1978. First served the 49th TFW ('HO') at Holloman (NM). In May 1980, moved to the 57th FWW ('WA') at Nellis AFB (NV). Transferred to the 48th Fighter Interceptor Squadron at LAngley AFB (VA) in late 1986 (as pictured). It returned to the 49th TFW whjich became a FW in 1992. The Eagle went to the Hawaii ANG in early 1993 with the 154th FW. Then moved to the 131st FW ('SL') at Lambert Field (MO). It crashed near Lindbergh (MO), 100 miles southwest of the base after clipping wings with 77-0118/SL, which landed safely. The pilot of 117 ejected safely.

The 2nd Tactical Fighter Training Squadron "American Beagle Squadron", once the 2nd Fighter Interceptor Squadron, 2nd Fighter-Interceptor Training Squadron and Fighter the 2nd Weapons Squadron, equipped with the F-106, is flying the Eagle since 1984. Here a flightline of yellow finstripe 2nd TFTS F-15s is seen at their homebase. The 2nd Tactical Fighter Training Squadron "American Beagle Squadron", once the 2nd Fighter Interceptor Squadron, 2nd Fighter-Interceptor Training Squadron and Fighter the 2nd Weapons Squadron, equipped with the F-106, is flying the Eagle since 1984. Here a flightline of yellow finstripe 2nd TFTS F-15s is seen at their homebase.
