VH-FVR was not an official registration but a "trade plate". Trade plate was an automotive term for special numberplates used by car dealers to allow unregistered cars to be used for limited purposes, such as test drives. So it was with aircraft dealers who received a small number of registrations so they could demonstrate and ferry unregistered aircraft. It was exceptionally unusual for an aircraft to have its trade registration painted on. "VH-FVR" became VH-SJJ when sold in December 1967.

This Jet Ranger was delivered as N6246N It served in New Zealand in the 1960s Registered ZK-HCA it also carried the Registrations P2-UHI and P2-FHH. It was later sold by Airfast and became VH-ONS.

VH-AHQ switched between the Australian and Papua New Guinea registers on several occasions, the last time in 1984. It became P2-AHQ
