This Hahn based F-16A visited Soesterberg air base with three other collegues of its 10th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Fighting Tenth". This squadron was disbanded on 30 September 1991. The Falcons arrived on a busy day, that saw the arrival of ten Langley Eagles, two KC-10As and a C-130H, and 32nd TFS F-15C/D activities that included an Alpha Scramble too as well as Dutch transport movement with F27s. This 80-0613 served after its Hahn tour also the Texas, Illinois and Michigan ANG, was modified in the meantime to F-16A ADF and was stored at AMARG on 31 March 1994 with inventory code FG0125.

Although unmarked, this F-16D belongs to 346 MPK, based at Nea Anchialos (Greece). The F-16D was not that fortunate in its career, as on 14 October 2004 it crashed together with F-16D serial 147. The incident happend during a training flight near Pilio mountain, near the village of Agios Lavrentios in central Greece. All four pilots were sadly killed. The cause of the crash is not 100% clear, a mid air collision is not ruled out, but flying in formation into the slopes of the mountain, in less visibility due to low clouds is also reported as an option.

Not the very best click, caused by 100% back light at one of the rollers of Edwards, but this F-16A was used in the test program for the Air Defence Fighter (ADF) variant of the Fighting Falcon. It was moved from the 6512th TS to Lockheed Martin at NAS Fort Worth in 1997 for onboard fire tests. Parts were seen at the dump of the airfield in late 2011. It was gone by mid-2012.

This F-16A was involved in the Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night test program, it carried a LANTIRN "Havoc in the Night" badge and a LANTIRN pod on station 5R (right hand of intake). Initial Operational Test & Evaluation of the pod was completed in Dec'84. The USAF approved low-rate initial production of the pod in Mar'85. The first production pod was delivered to the USAF in Mar'87. Tests continued. This F-16A was stored at AMARC with inventory code FG0330 on 13 Jul'95. Check the Israeli F-16A in the background (serial 301) which I was not allowed to photograph.
