Not quite a VIP transport, but this Transall was flying in a load of officers, including foreign military attachés by the looks of them, for the Rafale's service entry ceremony.

Built as a C-160F and testflown as German AF KA-201 first flight 09-Jun-1967, to French AF as F2 Mar-1969 , converted to C-160R in the mid 1990s and reregistered R2, withdrawn from use in 2013 and stored at Chateaudun. It is here carrying the badge of ET3/61 while serving as the support aircraft for the Patrouille de France.

Some visitors to the Cambrai airshow won the lottery and got the chance to ride in this Transall. The aircraft is refuelling hose-equipped and gave a tanker demo earlier in the day.
