To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, 111(F) Squadron have applied their wartime code letters - prefixed "JU" - to two of their Tornado F3s, as worn by the squadron's Hurricanes in 1940. The name worn under the cockpit of JU-L is that of Sgt W L Dymond DFM, a 111(F) Squadron Hurricane pilot who was credited with 11 Victories. He was posted as missing in action, 2nd September, 1940.
