The Atlantic Fokker F.14 was a different aircraft from the Dutch Fokker F.XIV, having a parasol wing and cockpit aft of the cabin. The US Army placed a large order for 20 examples in 1931. These Y1C-14 aircraft were distributed over various airfields. The Y1 prefix, dropped in 1933, indicated 'funding from outside normal fiscal year procurement'. After service with the 81st TFW it was modified to A-10C with SABCA in Belgium in 2009 and redelivered to the 52nd FW at Spangdahlem 2nd FW), It served the 510th FS, 81st FS before it was moved to the 354th FS at Davis Monthan AFB (AZ) in April 2014.
