This MD-90 was delivered to JAS during June 1995 and is still current with Delta as N937DN.

Just after snow clearing has finished this work horse touches down as the first landing of the day, here on Hokkaido Island. The aircraft had left Tokyo-Haneda early that morning and is wearing the well-known colours of Japan Air System. Added on the rear fuselage is the logo of the new JAL Group, partly hidden here behind the wing. [Provia 100F]

Coming and going. Carrying the New JAL Group logo on the rear fuselage, the third 777 in the JAS fleet taxies in after landing while in the background B777-246 JA771J (cn 27656/437) is rolling for take-off. The latter had only been with JAL for six months at that moment.

JA8557 in standard JAS livery shows us the well-known red sun, 'JAS' logo and registration have also been applied to the upper side of the wing. [Nikon F100, Provia 100F]
