Fibreglass Hawker Hurricane mounted on a plinth at MOTAT. It is modelled on the aircraft flown by Sir Keith Park who was leader of 11 Group, RAF during the Battle of Britain. 11 Group was tasked with defending London and south-east England. Park, a New Zealander, returned to his homeland after the war and died in 1975. The code OK-1 is Sir Keith Park's personal code, not a squadron code. Photo by: Suresh Syed, Wellington New Zealand
