A Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VR) 62 "Nomands" C-9B visiting NAS Alameda (CA) from homebase NAS Jacksonville (FL). This BuNo 163511 was acquired by the US Navy from Italian airline company ATI - Aero Transporti Italiani in December 1985 1986 (former DC-9-32 I-ATIA). The aircraft was converted to US Navy standards and eventually retired in January 2002 to the National Museum of Naval Aviation at NAS Penscola (FL). It was last seen stored outside on of the museum buildings in 2014.
