A Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VR) 62 "Nomands" C-9B visiting NAS Alameda (CA) from homebase NAS Jacksonville (FL). This BuNo 163511 was acquired by the US Navy from Italian airline company ATI - Aero Transporti Italiani in December 1985 1986 (former DC-9-32 I-ATIA). The aircraft was converted to US Navy standards and eventually retired in January 2002 to the National Museum of Naval Aviation at NAS Penscola (FL).
