A very muddled and confused history with this aircraft according to two databases I have consulted. It was owned by Tempair (originally as G-BCRS) and whose colours and tail logo are on this photo. It was leased to Gemini Air Transport, as 9G-ACD, in 1974 and 1975. It was then reported as leased to DETA but only from January 1976 to March 1976. When this photo was taken it was apparently back with Gemini following a lease to Somali Airlines between April 1976 and August 1976.

This Piggy was delivered to Lufthansa as D-ABXA in August 1986 and subsequently converted to a -QC in March 1993. It went to Islandsflug as TF-ELP in Mar 2001 and then Channel Express two months later, finally being placed on the UK-register in October 2003. Channel Express fully adopted the Jet2 name in January 2006 and this aircraft is pictured at STN still wearing a hybrid scheme. It was wfu in December 2016, ferried to Kemble and subsequently scrapped.
