Previously D-ADBQ. This aircraft crashed and was destroyed on 14th August 2005 near Athens due to a cabin pressurisation problem incapacitating the crew. The crew of 6 and 115 passengers were killed.

Air Sur was the new name for Canafrica which received this MD new in 4.87. After 11.90 flew with TUR, Transwede, Balair, Nouvelair Tunisie and Avioimpex. Stored at Goodyear, AZ, since 2002

The aircraft became D-ASXS with SunExpress Germany in May 2011 and later TC-SOR. Active as such in March 2023.

This aircraft was used for air to air filming. It was stored at Luton for some time and is now preserved at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford.

This slide has deteriorated very badly on a cheap film and mould can be seen in one small area, though a lot more has been removed using Photoshop.
