The Bell Mobility blimp was on a promotional tour throughout British Columbia and it flew around the Vernon area for a while. It seemed to be amazingly quiet, all you could hear was the sound of the props as the engines ran intermittently.

60 years old and still going strong and looking great. This Buffalo came to Vernon to do some circuits and then left for home base at Comox. The remaining few Buffalo aircraft will very soon be replaced with the new CC-295 and they will certainly not outlast the Buffalo. I was lucky to photograph 452 from my back yard on a dreary day.
