This Flogger-G was TOC by the NVA in March 1983 as 336 and after German reunification in October 1990 it was transferred to the German AF as 2014. At some point the frame was SOC and it came to this museum in February 1995 and is on display in this 'truncated' state.

The Jodel D9 was a single seat, open cockpit sport plane that first flew in 1947 in France and plans were distributed to allow amateurs to build the plane. In Germany and Austria this was at first not permitted but in 1958 this was officially allowed. In total some 500 D9s were produced and the D117 was a two-seat development. This plane on display made its last flight in June 2007.
