The two-seat structure of the L-39 trainer was not fundamentally changed in the L-159 fighter, and some Czech air force L-159As were converted to two-seaters in an attempt to sell some of the aircraft. 6072 has also been renumbered 6078.

Some serious maintenance going on this Ag Commander, which was originally delivered in the mid 1960s as a piston aircraft, and was converted to turbine power later.
