I really like to take these types of shots. Aircraft have to operate in all weathers so why shouldn't we photograph them in all conditions. As long as it is sharp and not back lit, one can end up with some nice images.

This cockpit section sat in front of the Howard Johnsons Motel on 82nd Street adjacent to the airport. The cockpit was completely devoid of any identification markings. The only reason I knew it was a B727, and not a B737, was the presence of the flight engineer's station.
