Scanned from Kodacolor Gold 200 ISO negative, Canon AE-1, 70-210 lens

This aircraft was brought to the UK for planned pleasure flights though permission was never obtained. I however managed to get a flight in it at Tollerton. It was based at Wymeswold, Leicestershire and subsequently went to Africa where it was destroyed by shell fire during a war.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing this much-loved machine in its current Euro Atlantic colours, but there are literally hundreds of images of her in those colours on the net, so here's something different. Bought by Tajikistan International 6.7.95, but repossessed by TAP only a month later
