This picture was salvaged from a discolored copy slide. Prototype of the T-25 Universal, later designated XT-25. Picture is taken as some aviation fair in the Rio de de Janeiro city. I have been unable to find a date or the exact location. Any help is appreciated.

This picture was salvaged from a discolored copy slide. I know nothing about this picture. Location is somewhere in Rio de Janeiro, but the exact spot is unknown. The occasion is probably an aviation fair as this aircraft was later transferred to the civil aircraft register as PP-HKJ. Any help on date and/or location is appreciated.

Delivered to Varig as PP-VJH in 1969, became one of four Varig 707s transferred to the Brazilian Air Force in 1986/87 for conversion for use as tankers. Served until withdrawn in 2013 and sold as scrap the following year.

Re-designated E-99 in 2008 and since upgraded to E-99M. Operated by 2°/6°GAv from their base at Anapolis.

The former Gatwick Heathrow Airlink Helicopter. Registered as G-LINK in 1978. Exported to Brazil as PT-HTT in 1987. Derelict at Jacarepagua by 2006. Noted in a nearby field in 2012.

The second Fairey IIID used for the first flight across the South Atlantic is delivered off the little port of Fernando de Noronha. Wearing c/n F.401, it was Portuguese navy s/n 16, christened either Patria or Portugal. The given date is just nine days after the crash of s/n 15 at the Saint Peter and Saint Paul Rocks. Gago Coutinho and Sacadura Cabral backtracked to the Rocks on 11 May to continue from there, but then lost this aircraft too. The third, 17, set out from Fernando de Noronha towards Recife. Thus apparently the stage between the Rocks and Fernando de Noronha was only covered by this aircraft in the opposite direction. Photo from: Museu de Marinha (Portugal)
