Built under licence by Bell Aircraft at Atlanta, GA. and delivered to USAAF 31st July 1945. Modified as SB-29B with under fuselage boat for air-sea rescue. At Oklahoma City Air Materiel Area, Tinker AFB, OK. in January 1950. Reclaimed at Yokota AB, Japan, on 15th September 1954 and transferred to US Navy. Assigned to NAWS China Lake, CA. in 1956 and used as a ground target for weapons testing. One of 4 B-29s obtained by Disney Corp. from China Lake for use in the 1980 movie "The Last Flight of Noah's Ark". Acquired by Weeks Air Museum in 1987 and later reported stored at Ocotillo Wells.
