Kuwait Airways operated 9K-AFA for the nation's royal family from 1989 and after the Iraqi invasion in 1990, it was ferried out to Baghdad and then Oman for storage, returning to Kuwait after the war. It then returned to service for the Kuwait government with "Do Not Forget Our POW's" markings as in this 1992 photo This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
