Four brothers named Moss built the attractive MA.1 two-seater in Chorley, Lancashire in 1937, intending commercial production. In 1938, G-AEST reappeared as a sports model with open cockpits and writer Ben Dunnell thinks this may have been a new airframe; see Alan Scholefield's photos from 1950 when it was a racer with the rear cockpit covered.
