Delivered new to the USAAF on March 7, 1945, carrying US FY 44-9055. Retired in 1973 and stored at Davis Monthan till January 1978, when Aero Union gave it a 2nd life as N51819. It changed ownership a few more times within the US before becoming C-GCTF with Canadian operator Transport Ariens in September 1982. Sold to Trans Fair a year later, finally joining Buffalo Air in September 1995. Buffalo used it as fire fighter, or, as can be seen here by the missing belly mounted fire retardant tank, as a regular freighter. Grounded since 2020 and reported to be for sale ever since.
