Two young Italian enthousiasts drove 7500 kilometres in a Fiat 500 and visited 60 airfields in ten European countries on a trip in 1971. At Gosselies, they snapped SE-DCH and SE-DCF. Previously used as target tugs by Svensk Flygtjanst, the old Meteor night fighters were impounded here in 1969 while on their way to Biafra. SE-DCF ended up at the castle in Savigny-lès-Beaune, France. Photo by: Luciano Bertolo This photo was added on 24 September 2025, and has since been viewed 95 times. |
