Formerly on on display in the Historic Hangar at the Deutsches Museum - Flugwerft Schleissheim, this Swiss Air Force Fieseler Fi156 has since moved to the refurbished museum in Munich Town. After WW 2, the Swiss Air Force, as well as several other mountainous European countries, continued to use the Storch to conduct rescue operations in challenging terrain where STOL performance was necessary.
