Seen here in revised BMA colours, G-AXLL was sold to Transbrasil in May 1973 as PP-SDT. After service with Faucett as OB-R-1173 it returned to the UK at the end of 1983 for BCal. Sold by BA to European Aircharter in February 1985, it went to Savannah Airlines as 5N-BDU in November 2001 but was damaged beyond repair in a storm at Abuja in March 2002 and was scrapped there in 2013 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
