This legendary aircraft is one of the museum's crown jewels. Nicknamed Point d'Interrogation ("Question Mark"), it was piloted by Dieudonné Costes and Maurice Bellonte, who made history in 1930 by completing the first east-to-west transatlantic flight from Paris to New York — a feat that took over 37 hours. Originally a Breguet 19 TR, the aircraft was heavily modified into the "Super Bidon" version to increase fuel capacity, extend fuselage length, and improve aerodynamics for long-distance flights.
