Former Comair Metro was registered C-GSLA in August 1989. After a fatal crash of sistership C-GSLB at Terrace, BC on September 26, 1989, the airline came under scrutiny from Transport Canada and lost their operating certificate. C-GSLA was returned to Fairchild in November 1989. The aircraft (now N2183A registered to Fairchild) crashed September 18, 1992 during a test flight.
