First noted as UR-74055 with the Antonov Design Bureau in 1995. Transferred to KamAZ in 1996 as RA-74012 in lieu of Ukrainian debts for KamAZ trucks purchased, basic Aeroflot colours and no titles. Registered as a VIP aircraft to Gazpromavia in May 1998.
