Manufactured in 1945 by North American Aviation Inc. in Inglewood, California, and served with the U.S. Army Air Forces during the Second World War. In March 1951, this Mustang was acquired by the RCAF and served with the City of Vancouver (Auxiliary) Squadron and retired from RCAF service in 1960.
