After arriving from LHR on a LOT Tu-154, about to board this for a flight down to its Krakow base. Delivered new to the Polish AF in 1973, originally in a white top scheme with blue cheatline but later repainted in the new standard grey overall. Registered SP-LWC to LOT in June 1991 then SP-KWC in November that year. Reverted to 1602 with the Polish AF in 1996; during overhaul in 1998 repainted again in mid-green/dark green/khaki camouflage. Wfu in 2008 and placed on display at the Wojska Polskiego (Polish Army) museum in Warsaw. This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
