The Hawker Engineering Company produced only two examples of this remarkable ultralight aircraft with the prototype, G-EBMB, on display at the RAF Museum Cosford. This replica was built in 1993 to the original specifications and registered G-CAMM in honour of the, (later to be) famous, designer Sidney Camm. Despite its frail appearance it performs well, even in winds that keep other early lightweight designs firmly on the ground. Ownership of the aircraft was transferred to the Shuttleworth Collection in early 2009. This photo is copyright © Alastair T. Gardiner, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
