Delivered to United Air Lines as CV340-31 N73143 in 1953. To Frontier Airlines in 1964 and converted to a CV580 in 1965 then to Metroflight and operated for American Eagle in 1984. Traded in to SAAB in 1987 and stored at Marana, AZ. To TAM Bolivia as TAM-72 in 1991 then to the Bolivian Air Force as FAB-72 in 1995. Preserved at the Museo Aeroespacial de la FAB, La Paz from 2015.
