This Tiger Moth was built by Morris Motors at Cowley, Oxford in 1944 and flew as T6818 in RAF service. Little is known of its WWII service but post-war it was registered G-ANKT. The plane was acquired by the Collection in 1966 and was rebuilt by two former engineering apprentices at Old Warden, using parts from two other Tiger Moths. Recently it has been completely overhauled and re-covered and is now finished as K2585 (actually painted as K-2585) in the colours of the RAF Central Flying School Aerobatic Team.
