This Bell 212, with the former test registration N4471N, was delivered to Sri Lanka in 1983 as CH-542. The helicopter was decommissioned in 1985 and was presumably used at several Air Bases as a display piece or for training purposes. In 2010, it was renumbered to SUH-4401 before being given the number SUH-542 in March 2012. It is now used for training purposes at the Sri Lanka Air Force Trade Training School at Ekala.
