Oregon Air National Guard's 123rd Fighter Group traded in their McDonnell F-101B Voodoos for McDonnell Douglas F-4C Phantom in 1979. The Phantom era lasted with them until 1985 when F-15A Eagles became available as active Air Force units began upgrading to F-15Cs.
