This F.2B was built in 1918 but saw no operational wartime service but did serve with 208 Sqn based in Turkey in 1923. The airframe was acquired privately in 1936 but the intent to make it airworthy never came to fruition, instead the project was taken over by Bristol and the plane finally flew again in 1952. It now wears the markings of a 22 Sqn plane B1162 and is the only original airworthy example in Europe. As a bonus it is powered by the world's oldest airworthy Rolls Royce engine.
