This 1954-vintage Hunter served with 222(F) Sqdn at RAF Leuchars, followed by 229 OCU and 233 OCU before being allocated the maintenance serial 7532M in November 1957. Landing up on the gate at RAF Credenhill in Herefordshire, it arrived at Newark in January 1992 and after a number of variations to the paint scheme, is now splendidly presented in the correct 222 Sqdn marks This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
