First delivered as long ago as July 1946 to the Iraqi Petroleum Company as G-AHRI, this early Dove was sold as 4X-ARI to Avitur Airlines in 1957, reverting to its British registration with Brooklands Aviation in 1965. Wfu in 1972, by 1978 it had been loaned to the Lincolnshire Aviation Society and put on show at Tattershall. In 1989 it moved to the Newark museum and in the last couple of years has been repainted in these Israeli marks.
