Delivered to Northwest October 7, 1965 this 727's ultimate fate was to become an artificial reef. It was sunk in Biscayne Bay, FL in September 1993. Sadly, vandals unbolted steel cables attaching it to the bottom of the Bay and made off with souvenirs shortly after it was sunk. Tropical Storm Gordon broke it into pieces in 1995.
