First registered on 14 October 1940, impressed into the RAF as ES915 in July 1941 and was used initially for tricycle undercarriage training for pilots destined to fly the Douglas Boston. Reverted to civilian use in February 1946. It passed through the hands of many owners before being withdrawn from use in the early 1980s. The registration was officially cancelled in November 1988 since when it has been on display with the Museum of Flight at East Fortune.
