Parked at Dyce's original Terminal Area on the Airfield's east side. Constructed as a C-47B-10-DK for the USAAF, 43-49153. Transferred to the RAF in 1944 as KJ977, a Dakota IV. Became G-ANTD in in 1954, entering service with Derby Aviation/Airways in 1955. Transferred to British Midland Airways in 1964. In 1968 became TJ-ACF of Cameroon Air Transport. Reverted to G-ANTD with Field Air Services in 1970. Operated for Air Anglia from 1971. Subsequently scrapped. This photo is copyright © David A.
