The two flying YAH-63 prototypes were 73-22246 and 73-22247. 22246 crashed on 4 June 1976. It was apparently repaired, although some sources say that instead a static test airframe which supposedly had been allocated 73-22245. We assume this is incorrect, but note that the last digit of the front helicopter might be a 5 instead of a 6. There is also a suggestion that the serials might be fiscal year 1974 rather than 1973.
