Now preserved in the super Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. This Shackleton was built at Woodford in 1954 and served with various squadrons in a martime reconnaisance role. In 1972 she was converted to fulfill an AEW role and named 'Dougal' (can you spot him?) as all 8 Sqn aircraft were named after characters in either The Magic Roundabout or Herb Garden.
