First flown in 1969 and delivered to the RAAF in December 1973, operated by 1 and 6 Sqdns till retirement in 2010. Repainted in its SEA camouflage, it is one of 12 preserved examples that escaped burial near Brisbane where 23 F-111s remain entombed.
