Built for the USAF as 53-4619 in 1953. To the Luftwaffe as AA-050 in 1958. Later BF-050 then to the Portuguese Air Force as 1747 in 1966. Sold in 1978 and registered as G-BGPB in 1979. Painted in Canadian markings as 385. Damaged in a landing accident at Little Gransden in 1989. Stored at Duxford then rebuilt from 1995 and flew again in 2000. Painted in Portuguese markings as 1747. Still airworthy in 2024.
