In 1988 this Vampire was withdrawn from service and in 1992 it was put on a pole in front of the Dubendorf museum. To avoid deterioration it did receive a polyester fuselage pod. Picture taken whe Flieger Flab Museum was just the Fliegermuseum, according to the sign underneath the aircraft. Photo by P.
