A21-101 was the last of eight F/A-18s to be prepared by Boeing Australia for preservation. Each were assessed as having heritage significance. A21-101 was the first F/A-18 delivered to the RAAF and made an epic 15-hour non-stop delivery flight from California to RAAF Williamtown in May 1985 with the support of a USAF KC-10. Delivered to the museum in May 2023 This photo is copyright © David Caughey, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
