The story of these two Vampire trainers in Syrian markings is unclear to us. Scramble lists them as 'cancelled/not taken up' by Syria, but 493 passed through Luqa, Malta early in 1960, still in Syrian markings. It seems likely that they went to Egypt, which was apparently always the real customer. Is this Hatfield or Hawarden?
