Built to compete in the Istres-Damascus-Paris Air Race of 1937, and paid for by popular subscription in Romania. Christened Alba Iulia, it was piloted by Captain Alexander Papana. YR-AHA was never delivered to Romania and remained in the US as NX2344. The two wing engines were 250hp Menascos and the nose engine was a 420hp Ranger.
